MEMBERS OF THE BOARD
The Board of Directors, renewed on the 3rd March 2020 by the General Assembly of APRI, is currently composed of the following members:

María Rosa Rotondo
Promoter and founder of the Association, María Rosa is also Managing Partner of the Office of Public Affairs at Political Intelligence, where she has worked since 2001. She has extensive experience in the management and strategic counseling in lobbying campaigns, both in Spain and before Community institutions, as well as in management and direction of sectorial associations.

Luis Suárez de Lezo
Luis Suárez de Lezo graduated with a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid. He is the current Secretary-General of AICA, where he works as CEO of the Patronal of Alcobendas, the founding association of CEIM-CEOE, which has more than 900 partner companies. He is responsible for the institutional representation and of the defense of business interests for the local, regional and state administration.

Esteban Egea
Esteban Egea is a senior professional in lobbying, public affairs and institutional relations since 1979, especially on topics for the development of the digital society. He has worked in different political management positions in the public administration field and for fourteen years, until 2013, as Public Affairs and Institutional Relations Manager at IBM Spain.

Adriana Bonezzi
Director of Public Affairs at Weber Shandwick, and has also been the External Affairs Manager at British American Tobacco. Adriana is a lawyer, winner of the annual grant of Fundación Faes, where she has worked in the legal and institutional sector. She has also been the Institutional Relations Manager at Laboratorios LETI. She has an active political facet - she was a consultant and Head of Cabinet at the Congress of Deputies with Ana Pastor and consultant in her cabinet at the Ministry of Public Works.

Diego Bayón
A political expert who graduated from the Carlos III University of Madrid, he holds a degree in European studies from the University of Maastricht and a Master’s degree in Public Affairs Management from the University Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE). He has been Public Affairs Director at Kreab Spain and currently is Advocacy & Public Awareness Director at Harmon. He started his professional career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was part of the team that launched the Public Affairs area at Weber Shandwick in Spain.

Montserrat Escudero
Public Affairs Director at Omnicom, she has worked for 18 years at the Sernauto employers’ association for equipment and components of the automotive industry. She is member of the Executive Board of Multinationals for Marca España, and since 2019 she has been a member of the Executive Board of Omnicom Public Relations Group.

Dolores Gonzalez Pastor
Manager at the Corporate Office of Regulation and Public Policies at Telefónica. She has been a member of the Assembly of Madrid and President of the Committee of Inquiry for Political Corruption. Spokesperson of the Committe of Surveillance of Recruiting and Speaker of the Transparency and Participation Law. She has worked in the private sector for 20 years in the digital and technology field.

Juan Alfonso Herrero
Chairperson
Degree in Law and Political Science from the University of Valencia. He holds a Master‘s Degree in International Affairs from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) and a Postgraduate Degree in Public Affairs Management from the same university. He has developed his entire career in public affairs and specifically in European affairs. Currently and since 2015 he is the Director of European Affairs at Mercadona. He represents that company on the boards of EuroCommerce, the European retail employers’ association, and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg. He is also an alternate member of the European Economic and Social Committee.

Ángel Mesado
Managing Partner at 19N Strategies, a strategic public policy consultancy specializing in the digital and technology sector. He has been responsible for Public Policies and Institutional Relations at Airbnb in Spain and Portugal (2013-2018) during its time of maximum expansion and growth. He is a political expert and has worked for the Ministry of Foreign Action of the Generalitat de Cataluña.

Piluca Nuñez
Director of Communication and Institutional Relations of the Asociación Empresarial Eólica (AEE), her professional career has been linked to the energy industry, being responsible of Communication and Institutional Relations at the Spanish Nuclear Industry Forum for more than 15 years. She has also worked in the service sector as the Communication and Brand Manager at Sodexo Iberia.

Juan Torres
A graduate in Philosophy and Arts, he is currently the Founder and Manager of Public Affairs at the Deva consultancy firm. Overall, he has more than 30 years of experience in the sector. He has previously been Head of the Press Office of the Ministry of Public Works and Communication Manager at Correos, among other positions.

Irene Matías
Managing Director of the Spanish Public Affair Association (APRI) and Secretary of the Public Affairs Community of Europe (PACE) she is a freelance Public Affairs consultant specialised in association management. She has been Managing Partner of Institutional Relations Agency ACH Cambre. Previously, she was co-founder and member of the Cambre Asociados, a public affairs and communication consultancy firm based in Madrid (Spain). She is graduate in Advertising and Public Relations and received a special award in 2009 for her Bachelor’s degree from the Complutense University of Madrid.
